Colorado Yeti Nation,
Colorado Elite Hockey is proud to announce the return of Spring Hockey to Boulder Valley. "We are extremely excited to bring teams at each level into the Yeti Family this year," says President Tony Zurn. "After such a successful inaugural season, we wanted to give more players the opportunity to participate in such a great experience." This season there will be a team fielded at each division, with the possibility of multiple teams, tiered for Major and Minor.
The Colorado Yeti has bolstered its coaching staff in the off-season as well. With new additions in ex-Avalanche Defensemen Aaron MacKenzie, ex-CHL forward Taylor Guay and the return of ex-DU Forward Stephen Cunningham, Yeti Players and families will have the full Elite Coaching Experience.
Tournament options this year are the new highlight to the program. In addition to the 10 week training regiment, individual players will have the option to either compete in the 24th Annual Banff Hockey Academy Challenge Cup in Vancouver, and/or the 2nd Annual Yeti Classic, in May. "We really think this not only adds a great financial option to families, but also gives us the ability to develop Cadet Yeti along with showcasing our Tournament Players," states Hockey Director Chance Creger
To put the finishing touches on the program, Colorado Yeti has also announced they will be powered by CCM Hockey for the spring season. Exclusive team discounts will be provided to all Yeti Players and families.
